Trick or treat party

We celebrated Halloween with a spooky party filled with Treats, and a few tricks, too.

We started the party with a costume fashion runway.  Everyone had a chance to show off their costume. The kids danced and pranced down the runway and received the applause they all deserve.

Then we moved outside for some games. We wrapped some mummies, touched some mysterious witch body parts and tried to eat donuts without using our hands.

On the other side of the garden, face & body painting attracted many children too. They were very good at holding still so they could have the most perfect body painting! And just like they expected, the painting turned out super cool!

Then came the big event- a piƱata that sprayed candy and confetti everywhere. The kids picked up all the goodies they could find and put them in their treat bags.

Afterwards, they got to go trick-or-treating for even more goodies. Many choruses of “Trick-or-treat” and “Thank You”s later, bags were full of treats to take home. The snack table was set with chewy candy spiders, mummy hot dogs and cookie fingers- Snack time was pretty scary!

When our little ghosts and goblins were full, it was time to relax with a movie treat. Monsters Inc. was just the ticket to end the Halloween fun.

Our big event this month was Children’s day!  The kids had a blast walking in a costume parade, playing carnival games, and running for candy and toys that scattered from the piƱata.

"I don't need my floaties anymore!"

Proudly telling his mom, Noah is so happy to be able to swim without the floaties and and he can swim more properly.

Our professional swim teacher really knows how to make one hour in the water fun and useful. It's surprising how fast the kids are improving. Some of them can swim without floaties after only a couple classes.

Open every Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning, this class is for children from 4 to 6 years of age and it requires the maximum number of student is 5.

And here are some pictures from our swim class!

Welcoming Tet holiday

Before saying goodbye for a week, the children had a party with their little friends. The children dressed up in Ao dai to come to school. The small party was very cosy and Vietnamese. They enjoyed the Dragon dance, the parade, the Ao dai dance, singing Vietnamese kids' and so much fun playing traditional games. Each of them went home with a big smile on their face and a "li xi" which was a red envelop that brings luck and happiness to the year the Snake.

Noah's Club will close from 8th Feb(Friday) to 17th Feb and open again on 18th Feb. We hope you and your family a wonderful Tet and a lucky coming year!
